Frequently Asked Questions

You have questions — we have straight answers. No runaround, no sales pitch.

Pricing & Inspections

Our pricing varies depending on the situation and species involved, but we always provide clear upfront estimates before work begins. We don't charge per animal — instead, we charge based on the work needed to completely solve the problem.

Check out our pricing page for full details, or send us an email and we'll be happy to help.

Yes. Every job starts with a thorough inspection to identify entry points, damage, and what's really happening. This helps us give you accurate solutions — not guesses. Inspections also include photos and detailed findings whenever possible.

We charge $75 for inspections because a proper inspection takes real time and skill. A free inspection only pays for itself when the company sells you work — ours pays for itself by telling you the truth.

Yes. Many of our services come with repair and exclusion guarantees. If an animal returns through a properly sealed area, we'll make it right. We stand by our work and believe in doing the job the right way, the first time.

Service & Scheduling

We proudly serve most of South-Central Virginia, including Lynchburg, Roanoke, Danville, Martinsville, Appomattox, Halifax, and surrounding areas — with frequent service to Smith Mountain Lake, Moneta, and Hardy.

If you're nearby, give us a call — chances are, we're already helping your neighbors.

We do our best to respond quickly — usually within 24–48 hours, depending on the situation. For urgent cases like trapped animals inside living areas, we prioritize same-day or next-day service whenever possible.

Not always. If exterior access is available and safe — or we are performing trapping services — we can handle most inspections without you being home.

However, we recommend being present if possible. That way we can walk you through our findings and discuss the next steps face-to-face.

Animals & Methods

We specialize in nuisance wildlife removal and exclusion, including raccoons, squirrels, bats, skunks, opossums, foxes, snakes, birds, and other problem wildlife. Every job is handled with care and respect for both your property and the animals we remove.

Yes — 100%. Every step we take follows humane, state-approved practices. We never use unnecessary force, fear tactics, or harmful poisons. Our goal is always to remove the problem safely while minimizing stress on the animal and preventing future conflicts.

Whenever possible we exclude and seal up a home or business so that animals are forced to find other accommodations. However, in some cases this is not an option.

When exclusion isn't possible, we must follow Virginia law. Virginia prohibits relocation of most nuisance wildlife, so in those cases we humanely euthanize as required by state regulation. We are in contact with local rehabilitators and use them whenever appropriate.

Absolutely. In addition to removal, we provide long-term exclusion and prevention services, including sealing, screening, and property modification. Our focus is always on prevention, not just reaction.

After Removal

After removal, we seal all entry points, clean and sanitize affected areas if needed, and make sure the problem doesn't return. Our goal isn't just to get the animal out — it's to keep your home protected long-term.

Yes, we do. Whether it's an attic, crawlspace, or wall cavity, we locate and safely remove the source, then treat the area for odor and bacteria to restore air quality and comfort.

About Animal Dispatch

Yes. Animal Dispatch, LLC is a fully licensed and insured Nuisance Wildlife Control Company. We hold a Commercial Nuisance Wildlife Control Permit, Fur Bearer Trapping License, and our owner is NWCOA Bat Standards Certified. We follow all state regulations for trapping, exclusion, and humane animal handling.

We believe in honesty, tangible proof, and professionalism. No scare tactics, no hidden fees — just experienced technicians, detailed reporting, and results you can trust.

We also show you what's actually there before recommending work. A paid inspection protects you from being sold a job you don't need. We've documented multiple cases where customers were quoted thousands more than was necessary by other companies — including one quoted $20,000 for bats that turned out to be lizard droppings. We'd rather tell you the truth.

Our founder Devon has been catching animals since he could walk and began professionally doing wildlife removal in high school. That's pushing 20 years of hands-on field experience. Animal Dispatch, LLC has been in business since 2020, built on that foundation.
